It's Vintage, Darling!

This was me at Perton's vintage and craft fair yesterday,

1960s Sportaville catsuit (Second To None, previously seen HERE) worn with a heap of Indian Lamani gypsy jewellery

 surrounded by stock!

Raff Simons tee shirt (99p, Age UK), Diesel Black Label waistcoat (£3.25, Compton Hospice), 1960s Tootal scarf , flat cap, tooled leather belt and unbranded jeans (all jumble sale finds)

 My glamorous assistant.

We managed a decent profit with yet more cash added to the travel fund (and Gilbert was a lot lighter). I'm already Googling flights!

My clothes rail, groaning under the weight.

Jon's new £1 jacket (previously seen HERE)

A face frozen from too much smiling!

Buy my stuff!

The lovely String of Pearls, a dead ringer for Margaret at Penny Dreadful.

I resisted the temptation to spend any of my takings although there were a few frocks that caught my eye over at my friends' Ellen and Dawn's stall.  Check out those maxi dresses!

If I don't become a millionaire from flogging vintage clobber maybe I can turn my hand to modelling. I got asked to pose for a professional yesterday, what do you think? I'm linking to Patti's Visible Monday.

Courtesy of David Hubball, Mugshots Photography

I'm off to resume my position under a blanket in front of the fire once I've caught up with what's been happening in Blogland.

See you soon.

  68. I saw the black and white photo on Visible Monday and thought,"What the hell?!! VIX?!!" You look so gorgeous, but then you always do. You should be the spokesmodel for all things vintage and glorious.

I thought of you today as I went to Rag-O-Rama to sell some things. They're all set up for Halloween, with the best so-called costume stuff. I saw so many fabulous 70's pieces, I nearly passed out. I wish you had been here.

Your booth looks enticing; hope you made a small fortune. XXOO

Of course you are model material, and a damn sight more interesting to look at than the unformed babies that frequent the runways and the fashion mags.
