Yep, I'm off out again. This time we're popping into the Fiftieth birthday party of a biker guy I've known since I was an impressionable teenager. It hardly seems like five minutes ago since we were celebrating his 30th, so scary how time flies. He's still riding his Harley, donning leathers (albeit a few sizes bigger) and wearing his hair jet black.
You've seen my dress before (again, the obligatory biker's black) but I'm wearing my trusty TopShop jacket over it. I've had this jacket for over seven years now, it's seen many an eventful night, gig, festival and even a total hip replacement. It's been through a lot, bless it.
On the subject of TopShop I picked these suede boots up from there today. I'd had my eye on them for ages but know if I wait the price will always come down in the end. My patience paid off and there was just one pair left, in my size, for a bargain £10.
So comfortable which is just as well as the pub's a mile-long walk away.
I'm heavy on the vintage silver tonight, including a 1970's Celtic bird pendant and a stack of silver coloured brass bangles inherited from my Mum. The vintage Edwardian carpet bag's a family heirloom.
Happy Friday to you all!
