On Sunday I was up first and discovered a present waiting for me in the kitchen so I put it to good use immediately, filling it with tea and taking it back up to bed where we lay and read until 8.30am.
Breakfast was toast eaten in front of The Andrew Marr Show. I spent the morning photographing and listing accessories on eBay and Jon did musical stuff in his room.
If only that 1960s psychedelic bra was my size. Mind you, the box with a giant clown looming behind the model is enough to give anyone nightmares!
I posed for an outfit photo just before the heavens opened and washed the remaining snow away. I was too excited not to wear the hat I'd made on Saturday afternoon.
Sticking with my Wear:Sleep:Repeat challenge I rewore Saturday's Anokhi pinafore dress with my latest Amor Lux Breton top and a charity shopped leather belt. The vintage Elgee, London wool coat was Liz's before she'd had a clearout and sent it my way.
It had warmed up significantly so I cast aside the thermal leggings and bodysuit and belted my dress. I avoided belts for years, during my 20s a colleague had told me that the reason men were always chasing after me was that by emphasing my small waist I was sending out a subliminal message that I was fertile - and there was I thinking it was my sparkling wit & lively conversation that attracted them!
The details: Semi-precious bejewelled bracelets (one a gift from a fellow vintage trader, the other a 21st birthday present), 1960s Gohill's exotic snakeskin boots (which belonged to my junior school teacher), carnelian earrings (eBay) and a bit of proper British vintage label porn.
After our lunchtime noodles I looked out a book for this week's bedtime reading (have I ever mentioned by undying love for Harry Hole?) and then embarked on a bit of St Valentine's day sewing for Jon.
'Cos nothing says I love you more than a neck pouch to keep your hand santiser in. I made it from the waistband of a knackered vintage skirt, a wooden button a friend gave me and the cord from an old blouse, the sanitiser was already in the house. As long-haul travellers and festival-goers, hand sanitiser has been a part of our lives since the dawn of time, we were probably the only people in the UK not flying off into a mad panic to stockpile it when we went into lockdown last year, it's always in the cupboard.
The rest of the afternoon was spent wrapping ebay parcels and catching up with blog comments. As is traditional for Valentine's Day we had a curry for tea, this was Sri Lankan-style with fresh cauliflower and spicy rice (we used a ready made curry sauce by award winning gourmet sauce producers Seasoned Pioneers, a treat from a friend). Back in the days when we used to work for a living we often used to order takeaways or stop off for a bag of chips when we'd done a 16 hour stint at a vintage fair or got back home after a festival. In the new normal way of living we haven't indulged since 2019 and I haven't missed them one bit.
Later on, in preparation for Adam Curtis's new series of documentaries, I Can't Get You out of My Head, examining why people still keep falling for conspiracy theories, we watched
Hypernormalisation (from 2016) on the I-player, so thought-provoking my head nearly exploded. I had to stop it halfway through and have an early night just to reset my brain.
On Monday morning I woke to thick fog. I did my Wii Fit workout, had a quick browse on eBay and spotted a fabulous vintage tunic that had just that minute been listed and snaffled it immediately. After our breakfast Jon went to the post office whilst I caught up with blogland.
Jon's a massive fan of vintage Farah Gabicci so, when they relaunched some of their 1960s back catalogue at the end of last year he bought a couple of pieces. Normally he'd be wearing them for days and nights out but with no prospect of that for the foreseeable future the post office had to suffice. The olive green tortoiseshell specs are vintage 1960s deadstock and made in West Germany, he had them glazed to his new prescription at Specsavers.
Wear:Sleep:Repeat saw the return of Sunday's Breton top, worn with my vintage Phool midi skirt and my newly acquired Anokhi jacket. Looking back at my collage I realise that I last did my roots on day 1 of my challenge, that's 36 days ago, no wonder my parting looks so awful! That's another job to go on this week's to-do list. How anyone can complain they're bored during lockdown is beyond me, I'm busier than ever.
The details: Hexagonal frame sunglasses (Jaded, London 2018), Vintage 1960s-does-Edwardian boots (car boot sale, 2010) and chandelier earrings (roadside stall, Goa)
Jon spent most of the day composing in his room so I sorted out another suitcase of vintage bits and pieces from the Kinky Shed, photographing and listing it on eBay taking a break for noodles halfway through.
For the first time in a week we went for a walk around the block. It was lovely not to have streaming eyes and frozen faces, we even dispensed with our gloves. One of the neighbourhood houses being ruined modernised had reached completition with a posse of builders lounging on the roof singing along to The Stereophonics in the sunshine.
Crocus, snowdrops, wallflowers were still blooming despite last week's Baltic tempertures and seven days of snow and the Monkey Puzzle tree looked glorious against the azure sky.
Tea was garlic bread, spiced couscous and salad, eaten whilst watching BoJo's latest update. After that I plotted a heritage walk for tomorrow and hung up my next Wear:Sleep:Repeat outfit before settling down to some more mind-blowing TV.
Stay safe and see you soon!
What weird packaging for a bra! I hate clowns lol. I have Mom hooked on Jo Nesbo now, after getting a couple in that book lot for her. Hubby bought me almost the exact same Love mug for Christmas - mine says Love is Love but the striped heart is almost identical
ReplyDeleteIsn't it bizarre? I think the designer of that bra packaging had taken a few too many mind-altering drugs! Clowns are vile.
DeleteHarry Hole is the best, he's the Scandi version of Ian Rankin's Rebus - I bet your Mum loves him, too.
Fancy us having twin mugs, that's 'cos we've got the best partners! xxx
Both my girls would have jumped if they opened that bra package-no fans of clowns here either! I love the mug-nice expression of love for all-love the rainbow. I'm nursing a cold, but also enjoying looking through a cookbook my son sent me with recipes from the top LA restaurants. I don't know LA cooking at all, but I'm seeing some bright and fresh looking foods as I like seeing your ideas. Tonight will be fake Greek with boxed gyros, tzatziki olives, and hummus.
ReplyDeleteThat recipe book your son sent you sounds like a lovely thing to lift your spirits, I bet there's some lovely healthy cuisines and light and summery cuisine in there.
DeleteEnjoy your Greek feast, I had vegan gyros in Corfu a couple of years ago! xxx
The Love cup is great, what a nice present! I love the little neck pouch you made too. Oh my goodness, that bra box! I may have nightmares just after seeing the photo. It gets more fun every day seeing all your outfits and accessories. Have a great week Vix :)
ReplyDeleteThat Love cup made me smile - he told me that he's actually bought two as we're both so clumsy it's inevitable we'll break it before the year is out! xxx
DeleteHarry Hole/Nesbo are must reads. Even got the husband enjoying them now.
ReplyDeleteI envy your flowers, still a couple of feet of snow in the garden.
Off to have a look on on your ebay
I'm keeping everything crossed that yo get a big thaw soon.
DeleteI introduced Jon to Jo Nesbo as well, he's now a fan. Funny how I love Scandi Noir and TV series but not at all keen on all the snow. xxx
WOW, I'm enjoying so much your challenge!. Love your pinafore dress and wool coat ensemble, and your new hat too!, love your anokhi jacket and cute skirt, love both accessorizing!. Looking really fabulous in your winterized wardrobe!.
ReplyDeleteYour eBay shop looks really appealing (love some colourful beads and bijouterie!) and I'm enjoying vicariously my fellow bloggers' talent for shopping. You're Brilliant!
Thanks for sharing your comments on tv. I've watched Monty Don's gardens series and totally enjoyed it!. And watching The Durrells now, which is making me feel joyful!.
I think this documentary will enthrall me for sure!, I have to watch it.
besos
Thanks so much, Monica. I'm really enjoying playing around with my wardrobe and discovering different ways of repeating a garment.
DeleteNow that we can't travel I bet you're loving following Monty Don and revelling in that gorgeous Corfu landscape. The Adam Curtis documentary was rivetting! xxx
When you look at your wear-sleep-repeat montage, you can see your favourite colours shining out😁
ReplyDeleteYou're right! I've actually got rid of a couple of things aftre looking back at my outfits, too. xxx
DeleteYour Monday morning vintage tunic top find is fabulous, I want it! I like the idea of the hand sanitiser holder :) Yes, you're right since all this Covid started I seem to be busier than ever too, I think maybe we all feel we should savour every moment and live in the present - we have done decorating, gardening, decluttering, made our garage into a sort of gym, go for walks nearly every day and hubby has started an online IT course whilst I now get my paint brushes out more often! I don't know what I did all day 'before' I even have time for a little afternoon nap and then tay up late reading books or exploring interesting stuff on Tinternet but 'before' would have dozed off by 9pm quite often!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Betty! I'm glad I snaffled it early, I had a feeling it wouldn't hang around for long. It's that Alpnani label which we both like.
DeleteIt is all about making the most of every minute, isn't it? I'm enjoying doing every task properly as well rather than going through the motions and rushing off to the nexxt thing. That's brilliant that your husband has enrolled on that online course, too. xxx
Oooh! Those chandelier earrings from Goa are amazing!!! I’m in love with them!
ReplyDeleteYour clothing is so pretty!
Thank you! I spotted them twinkling at me at 8am on a morning walk, they had to be mine! xxx
Deletehave you ever thought about dyeing your hair red? a deep burgundy red. I think you'd look FABULOUS! you're a very beautiful lady and you have GREAT style!
ReplyDeleteHello Leigh! Thanks for your kind words. I once played around with one of those online apps where you could try different hair colours virtually and loved the burgundy red. The only thing that puts me off is that I've heard that red is quite high maintenance and fades quickly. xxx
DeleteI know what you mean about not being bored - between house, garden, sewing, reading, blogworld and local walks from the house, there are still not enough hours in the day to do everything I want. I'm usually too tired to do everything rather than not having sufficient time. I have never understood people who got bored - it is just not a concept I recognise.
ReplyDeleteAs for the clown on the bra box - aargh - WHAT is that about? Now the vintage top you just bagged - utterly gorgeous!
Snap! I'm usually so tired after trying to get everything I want to done I can only manage a couple of pages of my book in bed before nodding off.
DeleteMy Mum always used to tell us that only boring people got bored, the older i get the more I agree.
Isn't that bvra box awful? I'm not sure if it's the clown or the poor model being totally oblivious to it looming behind her! xxx
Hello, it was white day here on Sunday so Paul got spoiled with chocolates and gifts!! It’s the girls day in March with red day, quite funny really, yes we do keep the tradition of Valentine’s Day alive, he bought me some lovely tulips off my florist friend. Who is amazed by Valentine’s Day and think it’s a very sweet celebration.
ReplyDeleteA scratch card which produced zero yen ahh well and chocolate I’m allergic to never mind. But the day was focused on him .
I love farah it’s a proper gentleman’s brand Paul’s dad wears it. I have a vintage farah cardigan I adore. I forgot I won some Steve Madden trainers on eBay for a steal. I love that tunic . I used to wear clothes like that when I was pregnant and I miss the style. Now I dress well harajuku style. Not Lolita ! You are quite right bright hair is difficult to maintain I have had coloured hair for 20 years now and I love it but it can be a pain at times.
Mahogany would be a nice shade for you, poly colour do one for about £2.50, my mum used to send it , I think wilko sell it and it’s long lasting as well. Take care and keep safe you two
On Sunday Cerys Matthews was celebrating the Finnish festival of Ystävänpäivä (Friend’s Day) on 6Music - I thought that was a lovely idea, far more inclusive. Those tulips soun lovely though, I love tulips - what a sweetie Paul is.
DeleteI am a dope, that top is Gabicci not Farah although he loves their stuff, too - proper well made and not fashiony, can't be doing with lame trends.
You are doing well with your ebay finds, it can be daunting at first but once you master the words to use when you're searching and take time to read the listings properly, it's such a brilliant (and safe) way to shop.
Thanks for the Poly Colour tip, that's a proper old fashioned brand isn't it? I love the look of red hair but I expect that once I'm able to travel to India again it'd soon look drab with daily washing and intense heat. xxx
That's a rather interesting choice of image for the bra box. I'm not fan of clowns at the best of times but that one is terrifying.
ReplyDeleteYour new tunic is gorgeous. You certainly have the knack of discovering fabulous bargains online. X
Isn't it weird? A clown looming over me isn't the first thing I think of when anyone says Mardi Gras!
DeleteI'm excited about that tunic. I save my favourite searches and click on them first thing in the morning and last thing at night, early morning seems to be the best time to find anything! xxx
I love that even John gets dressed up for the post office. The new tunic is rather special and looks perfect for you.
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't believe how excited he gets about his tweice weekly trips to the post office, Julie! xxx
DeleteGood morning Vix! there's me thinking how wonderful with a capital W your hair looked didn't notice any roots. It looks fab. Now that vintage jacket is another wonderful find - how do you do it? Well you sure showed us signs of spring and the sunrise photo is beautiful - so glad my Dad passed on a love of nature as it has kept me sane. How are you feeling about when lockdown ends? Yes we will get some normality back but some of us have secretly enjoyed this time to ourselves. I expect I will be down the pub with friends but it just seems strange to think how different our lives will be again. Oh well we are adaptable aren't we? Love the wear and repeat challenge still going strong. Have a wonderful day hugs Shazxx
ReplyDeleteMorning Shaz and thank you! I shall wear a hat on my walk in a bit and tackle those roots later. I was moaning to Liz on the phone last week that it had only been a fortnight since I last did them but when I looked at my collage I realised it over 5 weeks. Time is flying this year, Spring really is within touching distance.
DeleteYour Dad did a fine job in instilling a love of nature in you, it's wonderful to appreciate our surroundings and notice the tinest changes, it makes evey single day seem different.
I feel the same way about lockdown as you, I've loved this quiet time and although I can't wait to meet friends in the pub, the thought of crowds makes me a bit jittery.
Have a lovely day and enjoy this wonderfully mild weather! xxx
woops thinking of the last post with the sunrise anyway all your photos are beautiful!x Shaz
ReplyDeleteIt was too foggy for a sunrise yesterday, wasn't it? xxx
DeleteThe bra package is funny to look at now. Funny how our perspective of clown was forever changed by Stephen King and the It phenomena. It's a fabulous bra, though.
ReplyDeleteThe Valentine's day mug with hearts is lovely.
Jon looks very stylish and so do you.
I love wearing belts and I'm not worried about subliminal messages.
Have a fabulous week!
That bra box is so funny, it needs to go into museum of packaging to preserve it for posterity!
DeleteHopefully at my age no man is going to see me as a symbol of fertility - one of the many advantages of getting older! xxx
I'd be too scared to buy that bra with that terrifying clown on the box. Although I did have some wallpaper that was almost identical to the fabric of the bra in my teenage bedroom. My friend swore she saw rabbits in the pattern ... and that was with us just smoking normal cigarettes :-)
ReplyDeleteI started watching The Serpent on iPlayer over the weekend after hearing you say how good it was and was immediately enthralled by it. I watched all the episodes over two nights, it was a great story and the atmosphere and fashions were brilliant ... although of course all the deaths were horrific.
I bet your teenage wallpaper was really groovy!
DeleteYou'd think with a bra named Mardi Gras the makers would have featured a New Orleans parade or something rather than a demented clown creeping up behind that poor woman. I wonder if they had similar magazine adverts and if the design ever took off?
I'm so glad you enjoyed The Serpent, it was so well-acted and the costumes and locations were gorgeous. There were parst of it so scary that I could hardly breathe, what an evil man Charles Sobraj was (but very handsome). xxx
Awwww... I love that heart mug, Vix. What a beautiful little "find" to wake up to, on Valentine's Day! And that bra box with the clown... holy toledo!!! *haha* He's got a little pervert vibe going on, if you ask me. *haha* ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks, Andrea! It was a lovely surprise to discover that mug awaiting me on Sunday morning.
DeleteIsn't that clown dreadful? What a strange way to sell a bra! xxx
Love the mug x
ReplyDeleteThank you! x
DeleteAww, how nice of Jon to get you that mug! And the little hand sanitizer bag is such a great idea. Like you, we didn't have to rush to the shops back in Spring. I had bottles stashed away all over the house, including my travel handbag and the sponge bag I'm taking on holidays. The box that bra was packed in almost made me choke on my coffee. Why the hell they thought it would be a selling point I'll never know. That clown really freaked me out.
ReplyDeleteI'm one again swooning over that Elgee, London coat. Luck you! Your ex colleague's comment about wearing belts made me giggle and roll my eyes in equal measure.
Can't wait to see you styling that tunic, and your restored Anokhi jacket looks amazing worn over your Phool midi skirt and Breton top. I'm loving Jon's Gabicci and his updated vintage specs, which are very cool! xxx
I had to think on my feet when I discovered that mug - we don't usually do presents!
DeleteIt always used to surprise me when people asked wht we were rubbing on our hands when we were working at festivals or sitting on trains in India. Hand sanitiser is essential when you're on the move. Maybe a good thing to come out of this pandemic is that people are more aware of keeping their hands clean when they don't have access to running water.
That clown is awful, no wonder the previous owner never wore the bra, they were probably too scared of the box!
Aren't we guilable when we're young? ignoring the compliments and latching on to throwaway comments usually made with an ulerior motive?
That Elgee coat has seen better days sadly but it's a lovely thing and so cosy to wear. xxx
that cup - so lovely! <3
ReplyDeletetartan coat on blockprint dress and breton stripes is one of your best outfits!! and of cause with this cool boots!
and the anokhi jacket looks fabulous on.
jon´s so cool in gabicci and vintage glasses!
the mardi gras bra is fun - yet to small for me...... but what was the package designer thinking???
lovely to see this signs of spring - here it started tawing today - but we will have to wait a week or two until we can see the first snow drops....... so much snow on the grounds.
stay warm and safe - dear vix! xxxxx
You can't beat a nice mug for your morning cuppa!
DeleteI think Sunday's outfit might have been subliminally inspired by you, mixing traditional tweed & stripes with exotic Indian block print. I love that new Anokhi jacket so much, I want to wear:sleep:repeat it every day!
The optician told Jon that he was tempted to tell him he'd broken his vintage frames when he put the lens in as he was so jealous of them.
You have had so much snow! I'm loving our mild temperatures and so are the lads! xxx
Well, that mug was a wonderful present! I really love the coat that Liz gave you too! It's so stylish!
ReplyDeleteYour new tunic and jacket look really good.
The sanitizer pouch is a really good idea. We were given karibeena (spelling!?!) bottles of sanitizer to refill but the wretched thing had the lid downwards so it used to leak so it was a waste and I stopped using it! At school, the SENCO commissioned someone to make these tie waist zippy pouches for all the things the Special needs TAs need to carry around (a bit like those pouches that market sellers use) which seemed a great idea.
Jon looks so cool in his Gabicci and glasses! I will need glasses at some point and I like the idea of having vintage frames rather than new ones!
Lovely to see the crocuses. I can see the lovely little miniature daffodils gradually getting there in my garden which I am looking forward to!
It did make me smile when I saw it waiting for me by the kettle on Sunday morning.
DeleteGreat idea about the market trader type pouches, we've always got sanitiser in ours when we're trading, some of the £notes we get handed look so skanky we feel the need to sanitise our hands.
Specsavers are better than most at reglazing glasses, they even mended a vintage piar of sunglasses for me free of charge when I asked if they had a spare scarew to fix them myself (and that was before I was a customer!)
I love those teeny daffs, I keep meaning to plant some. xxx
You look amazing in the Phool Jacket. Those sleeves! I used to wear Playtex Cross Your Heart bras back in the day. Madonna's Gaultier efforts had nothing on them! Been binge-watching 'Line of Duty'. Forgot what a great series it was and the acting is superb. Wonder what the new series will be like?
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am all over those sleeves, a few people commented that the print on them is reminscent of William Morris but I think it was him who was inspired by Indian block printing.
DeleteI remember those Playtex bras, I'm sure you could hear them creaked when the wearer moved.
Great idea to rewatch Line of Duty, the acting is superb, isn't it? Keeley hawes gave me chills. I can't wait for the next series, I'm hoping it will be equally brilliant. xxx
I'll have to photograph the brass goblet I gave L for V-day - it's Indian! BTW, your and Jon's new specs are so much fun! I love the groovy looks. I wish I could get L into a funky sweater/jumper like that, but he's staunchly band tee + patterned shirt. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI am in total love with your Elgee coat, and your second outfit is all kinds of perfect. Wear belts if you want to! I love them, especially when I'm wearing something loose overtop.
Happy Tuesday, Vix!
I'd love to see the brass goblet, Sheila! What a lovely gift, I bet his carft ale will taste all the better for being in a posh receptacle.
DeleteMen are so stubborn with their sartorial choices. I keep threatening to stick all Jon's tatty tee shirts in the charity shop rag bag.
Belts are good, I know that now. Back in my youth I was too dim to recognise envy! xxx
Never heard of a 1960s psychedelic bra
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
You have now! x
DeleteHow weird is the bra packaging! I'm in love with your Anokhi jacket! I really liked how you styled it.
ReplyDeletexoxo

Thanks, Lovely! x
DeleteConspiracy theories: a few years ago I went for a trip with some new-to-me friends. In the back seat with one other. As soon as we were hurtling at breakneck speed along a very long highway, she turned to me with a scary intent gaze, and a weird "knowing" smile. Then followed 3 hours - 3 bloody hours!!! of the nuttiest conspiracy theories that I have ever heard. I was gobsmacked that a business woman could be so dumb. And I was speechless. I also guessed why I had been maneuvered into being stuck with her. On the way home I pretended to sleep. For 3 hours.
ReplyDeleteOh no! It's bad enough chatting to someone delivering a parcel who descends into a monologue about "new world order" and the "illuminati" without bring trapped in a car for three hours with no escape. These people are so fanatical that they won't even let you get a word in edgeways either. Feigning sleep was the best plan! x
DeleteOh Vix - your Anokhi top looks just FAB! Great job on the hand sanitiser pouch - I'm usually wearing at least one of these kind of 'pockets' as most women's clothing doesn't have them lol
ReplyDeleteLovely shop swag - sadly I blew my monthly eBay budget on my East kaftan dress - but at least I did put half a dozen things in the donation bag. I was wobbling over the Indian Prince on horseback bag - but thankfully someone else bought it!
I need to declutter my alteration pile and sew a few buttons back on things in the mending bssket. I'm trying to avoid ironing - I usually do it as I wear it these days as it's not like I'm rushing off anywhere ....
I think I may have to drag out the outdoor chairs and have coffee outside today. It's a bit milder so we'll probably be sat there in us coats, mind lol
Take care all - thanks for the eye-candy and uplift, Vix xxxxx
Big love to Maryland - hope Spring is on your doorstep too, lovely x
Just bobbing back in to recommend

"He bought a car that converted the exhaust fumes into rose-scented perfume, he had a fleet of poodles. He made a ping-pong jacket and wanted it to be green - so he made it out of real emeralds," a
Thanks, Elaine! I'm so happy with my jacket, find of the year so far, I think! When I was photographing the Indian Price bag I was doing my damndest not to put it back in my wardrobe, you'll be pleased to know that it sold to a lovely lady who reads the blog and we've got to know at The Cornbury Festival over the last few years.
DeleteFor once in my life I don't have a mending pile - the joys of not shopping for stock any more. I'm actually excited when a button pops off these days instead of seeing it as a chore!
Great idea to have coffee outside and take advnatge of this wonderful mild weather, spring isn't far away!
Love to you and Maryland! xxxx
PS Henry Paget! I was desperate to visit his stately pile in Anglesey after seeing a picture of him on the front of the National Trust magazine! Fab article.
The mug is lovely, what a wonderful pressie to wake up to. I too have stocked and carried hand sanitizer around for years (in addition to the old trusty festival hip flask!)and people used to think I was a right weirdo for it.
ReplyDeleteHaha, the bra is fab, but why on earth someone thought it a good idea to put a leering clown on the packaging is beyond me! Lulu xXx
It did make me smile, I don't usually get presents!
DeleteA bet all those people who thought we were weird are remembering us know and admiring our foresight! xxx
Great looks
ReplyDeleteThanks! x
DeleteOh so cute style, great photos darling

Thank you! x
DeleteThe Berlei bra box is quite bizarre isn't it.My first couple of bras were Berlei-I'd asked my mum to buy me one and she said that I didn't need one yet-I was upset because my friends at school were all talking about theirs. So my mum took me into town at the weekend to an old fashioned shop to be fitted and the two I chose were flowered and 32 AA x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely memory, Flis! I pestered my Mum for a bra because I wanted to be grown-up like some of the girls in my class, too. Mine didn't have flowers, I wish it had! xxx
DeleteGosh, I remember those 60s pointy cup bras! That has got to be one of the most horrible examples of packaging I have ever seen; what on earth does the clown have to do with bras?
ReplyDeleteI loved your new ebay find and you, like Ann at 'Polyester Princess'; are on a roll for finds at the moment!
Loved your outfits and accessories and the jewellery from Kinky Melon looks fab. I must pop over and check it out...
This change in the weather has been so welcome hasn't it? Long may it continue.
Take care
xxx
Jon looks very dapper in his new top and cool glasses.
The packaging is awful, isn't it? What were they thinking!
DeleteI'm on a roll with ebay finds at the moment, it's feast or famine.
I'm loving this milder weather and sunshine. xxx
In these "COVID" times, a embroidered carry-sac for hand sanitizer definitely says "I Love You"! I like your mug. I think that was a very odd thing for your colleague to say about wearing belts - "advertising your fertility"?? If you have a small waist, why not show it off, especially when you have a cool belt collection.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely love mug :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is with that bra packaging! That’s terrifying.
I’m glad to see Wear:Sleep:Repeat! has continued! I have wondered during my weeks of absence if you’d kept up with it. And here is the lovely Anokhi jacket, with your new Breton top no less - it looks fab!
I had hand sanitiser left over from Latitude so I was able to wait until the rush died down before I bought some. Luckily I don’t leave the farm very often so we don’t use that much.
xx
