I was going to share some of the bizarre car boot buys we bought yesterday but that can wait. England's currently enjoying a spell of glorious sunshine and the joy of being self-employed is that I can get up at 6am, get all I need to done and spend the rest of the day basking in the garden.
Forget about living the dream by owning fancy stuff and living a celebrity lifestyle....

All I need is somewhere to sit.
A pitcher of tap water and some fresh peaches,
...and a gripping second-hand thriller.
Some bangin' tunes come in handy, too.
So I'm testing out Jon's latest suitcase boombox with some Skrillex and Rudimental (whilst my house & wardrobe might be vintage, my taste in music definitely ain't).
I often get comments about being "brave" when I appear on my blog wearing a bikini. What's the big deal? Its only a body. We've all got one.

We should all stop judging and assessing and be grateful we have a body that mostly works, forget it and get on with life!

It's great to see the sun again and those gorgeous loungers. (My auntie Jean had some just like them, she never had anything new so I bet they came from the church jumble... lovely memories.) You would look fab in a bin liner as I've said before but even I posted a pic of my wobbly old bod in a cozzie last year and I didn't get trolled! Shame there's no Pimms in that jug. ReplyDeleteIt's just a body? But yours is smooth and youthful. I'm 29 and I look like an old deflated balloon with my cellulite, sagging skin and horrific stretch marks. HA!! I'm probably one of the least modest people I know, but I don't think anyone wants to see me flaunt that around in a bikini so I keep all that covered.
