On Friday the Salvation Army ladies handed over a piece of Seventies-tastic crimplene, told me to "do something creative with it" and to show them the result next week.
Back home I pinned a favourite top to it, cut around the edges (allowing half-an-inch seam allowance) and stitched it together and hemmed it. Being super stretchy it didn't even need a zip.
Not too bad a result for less an hour's work.
Hopefully the ladies from my favourite charity shop will be impressed.
