Dollyrockers!

Today, my lovely pal Cheryl and I had a fab time exploring the second hand shops of Stafford with a slap-up lunch at Wetherspoons. Vintage finds were thin on the ground until we hit my home town and I discovered this Dollyrockers maxi dress in a shop I rarely visit. Isn't she a beauty?

My excitement knew no bounds when we got home to find two marvellous parcels awaiting me from the fabulous Alex and my darling Helga. This was in addition to the treats the beautiful Sarah sent me last week.

How lucky am I to have such fabulous friends? Vintage embroidered wool waistcoat, pink nylon midi dress, blue linen tablecloth, Japanese plates, blingy earrings, (Helga), books and a gorgeous Lynch mug (Alex), 1970's cabaret blouse, chiffon pussy bow, floral tablecloth and lime nylon housecoat (Sarah)

Check out Polly Piglet trying to get in on the blog action. After Monday's washout it's been gorgeous here today, no tights required (sorry my darlings, Helga and Sarah)!

I also snaffled this Made in Edmonton, London suede fringed jerkin and some groovy 1970's Googles shades, festival-tastic!

Now I'm off to quaff wine in front of The Apprentice. Have a wonderful Wednesday and wish me luck for successful car boot sale hunting tomorrow.

  11. Oh that frock! What a stunner, especially the fab sleeves.

I'm chuffed the mug arrived safely. I had horrible thoughts as soon as I'd posted it that perhaps I hadn't bubble wrapped it enough.

  13. Fringed suede jerkin. Amazing.

V, can you recommend any good places for my daughter in Walsall to go to for baby stuff? The second is due in July and they've no money at the moment. She says she goes to charity shops but they never have anything. Knowing the treasures you find then she either isn't looking hard enough or maybe going to the wrong places...

  16. Stafford is my hometown! I used to find lots there in the chazzers, but unfortunately nowadays there seems to be too much cheap Primark tat. I don't go there so often anymore, but I'll keep my eyes out when I am there in future for a gorgeous vision in a Dollyrockers maxi about the place. I bet the old Staffordians didn't know what had hit them! Emma

I would've served you in spoons seen as I work there haha!! Plus they've just opened up a Sally Army ;-) hehe xx
