There's no need for us to make a big deal out of St Valentine's Day as we love each other all year round. For the past eighteen years Jon's presented me with a hand-made card and rustled up something lovely in the kitchen. In the meantime I'm lazing about in bed with Keith Richards, sipping rosé dressed in a vintage pink nylon peignoir.

You know I love you guys, don't you? As so many of you commented about this sweet little enamel pendant I found at this weekend's jumble sale I thought I'd give it away. The gig the boy and I were meant to be going to has been postponed so instead we're just cuddling up with some good tv! We don't really do Valentines either, it's just an excuse for people to spend lots of money on crap!

Mark & I don't do anything for Valentine’s Day, mainly because both of us strongly dislike the notion of doing something cause it’s expected of you; we choose to declare our love for each other 365 days a year rather than doing it in bulk on the 14th of February.
A few years ago a friend of ours roped us in to go on a double date on Valentine’s & we had the most unromantic night of our lives & probably the most expensive one as well.
As far as I’m concerned they can stick their special Valentine’s menus, love heart cupcakes, tacky cards, pink champagne & chocolate boxes…all I need is a great big cuddle from the man that I love :)
