Never mind, the Visa are being processed and I can start thinking about packing for Goa. Hooray!
I love getting all my maxi dresses out and trying them on. I'm a very light traveller so only the most fabulous frocks make the grade. My bag rarely tops the scales at over 12kg and most of that is books.
Forget woolly jumpers and sensible shoes, this is how I like to dress in December.

Oh, envy!! It's been vile hasn't it? I don't mind a bit of a chill, I have some fabulous knitwear and I love suede....but the rain was just rancid this morning. I was down by the coast as well, I thought I was going to be blown all the way back to London....
ReplyDeleteTotally getting a cold to go with the miserable weather - how exciting to have a holiday to look forward to ;) xx
ReplyDeleteI love India. Went there on my first holiday on my own and felt perfectly safe. The cows sitting on the beach always made me laugh!!love Alisonx

Why d'you have to have a visa? Is it because you're staying a fairly long time?
ReplyDeleteIn my naivete I just thought you could basically turn up!
That's great that your Visa is processed! :) Half the fun of going on a vacation is the pre-planning and packing! Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteIt is officially hideous! Your poor knees and they'll be glad of your packing. Looks fab stuff xx

Oh Vix, have you ever considered to keep blogging while in India to send us some sun. I found it pretty impossible to be upbeat today - too wet, too dark, ach, I just hate winter, too! xxx
ReplyDeleteOh I love the great British Winter, cold, windy and frozen ~ but that last photo ~ oh I could be sorely tempted!
ReplyDeleteKandi x
The beach pic is wonderful Vix, it looks so relaxing and hot! I don`t like the cold weather but I do like snuggling inside when is freezing outside.

Ooh....I'm excited to see pictures from Goa, as the first snows fall here in Wisconsin. Is there a blog entry somewhere about your first trip to Goa, how and why it happened, and how it became your much-anticipated annual tradition?
ReplyDeleteHow lovely what a way to stay warm and relax and see a beautiful part of the world.xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous! Of your holiday and how great you look in your bikini! xx

I'm green with envy - escape from the grey and dreary days ahead sounds just the thing. I always love the anticipation of a holiday and think that and the planning and packing are almost as satisfying as the actual holiday itself. You do realise that we'll all miss you though? xxx
ReplyDeleteahh Goa sounds simply divine. What a fabtabulous time of year to go away! x
ReplyDeletethat last photo is GORGEOUS! it makes me wish it will still summer!
