With my little black dress, posh updo and pearl earrings, you might be forgiven for thinking I'm imitating a certain lady-like actress but with my propensity for downing pints, neon lippy, rock bands and general bad behaviour being trashy is far more me.
This is the dress I wore to the pub last night.

You can't beat a set of false eyelashes for adding glamour. These are from Poundland and have survived a soggy Green Man and some wild nights out. The lipstick is Barry M, I was wearing the same shade back in the early 1980's when I first discovered the brand. The 1960's pearl earrings were a 50p car boot sale find.
More boozing tonight at the Curry-oake.

I've recently been converted to false eyelashes again - they are as you say uber glamourous - but I've yet to perfect the art of putting them on without glue dramas.

After a tiring day shopping at York Designer Outlet we are staying in tonight, just made a WeightWatchers chicken casserole with baked potatos. Yum. Last night we went to see an Agatha Christie play which was really good. Have a fab night!

That dress looks great on you, have another great night tonight. We've just watched the 1st Harry Potter film (We've never watched any of them before!) have to say I really enjoyed it and will be watching the others over the next few weeks. We have my granddaughter staying over tonight so no booze for us :(

ReplyDeleteHad a full day - 5 hours of a Christmas Stroll, a fund-raising walk through 6 beautifully decorated homes and a mausoleum! Then we attended a 40th birthday party for a friend...now comfortably situated with feet up and laptop on my lap!

I love the black dress and it really does suit you so well.I worked all day yesterday and then went to see a film in a tiny little vintage style cinema, enchanting.Worked all day again today and this evening have been to a rock gig in a local pub, very loud bluesy rock, brilliant ! No car boot in the morning as I am working all day, boo hoo , but will be hitting the charity shops on Monday to search for a vintage fix!I swear it's the patchouli and yoga that give me all the energy !
