Watch The Birdie

After reading Sharon Rose's bird-print themed blog post I remembered a playsuit snaffled for £2 last summer from a sample stall on our local market. After a mad search round the bedroom emptying out drawers, baskets and cupboards I eventually retrieved it from a vintage suitcase stuffed with last summer's clothes.

Worn with some hot pink opaque tights it sure cheered the patients up when I was hospital visiting this afternoon.

Just by way of a coincidence a huge parcel turned up this morning from India literally covered in bird stamps. I can't believe that they managed to remain attached to the muslin wrapping on their epic journey half way around the word.

They're so pretty I'm going to frame them.

I made my hair bow myself during a craft workshop at Indietracks last summer. It's a bit wonky as I'd consumed rather too much real ale earlier on in the day. Not quite up to the fabulous Helga's standards!

I've recently become quite a fan of playsuits & now own a couple - although thinking about it, haven't worn one yet.. Anyway, so I particularly love this outfit with its gorgeous playsuit :)

I've also got tights that colour, but haven't worn them yet.. Noticing a pattern here..!? Honestly, I'm terrible..

  8. Loverly outfit Vix!
For some reason obscure reason seeing your Indian stamps made me think of the 'Birdie num num' scene from 'The Party' with Peter Sellers & I had to watch it on YouTube straight away, very funny :)
I'm working on playsuit number two tonight, I've made a few tweaks in the design from the one I made last week, so with any luck I'll be more happy with the end result?!
Mighty fine DIY bow by the way & I love the colourful tights too.
