Goa was as wonderful as always, early morning yoga, long walks along the seashore, haggling over silk dresses and ethnic tat in colourful street markets, catching up with old friends over chai, tropical sunsets with an ice cold Kingfisher....the heady smells of incense, spices, cow dung and wood smoke blended with the sounds of Bollywood filmi music and vintage Hendrix riffs...perfection.
The day we jetted off I was invited by the lady who runs the local Methodist church jumble sale to come and have a sneak preview before the official sale. I picked up this darling 1970's maxi for a princely 40p, heck that's cheap even by Indian standards.
The fabulous colours set my turquoise jewellery off rather splendidly.
Thanks for sticking around and big love to you all....there's major heartache in my life right now and I'm hoping blogging and your virtual friendship will help keep me sane over the next few months.
