Occasionally l'll laugh out loud when walking along the street as I mentally tot up the amount of money paid for my entire outfit. For example, the cost of today's spring-influenced ensemble was a grand total of £5.05
Lucite beaded brooch - 50p
Vintage wool jacket -10p
1950's rose print bag - 20p
Leather driving gloves - 50p
TopShop T Bar Shoes - £2.95
Yellow enamel earrings - 60p
Yellow enamel earrings - 60p
Trouble is that being a cheapskate does spoil shopping in high street shops as I tend to pick up something pretty and shriek with horror when I glimpse the price tag.
I picked up 11 of these 1960's shift dresses from Thursday evening's jumble sale. I wonder why someone finally decided to part with them after forty years of careful storage?
I can't believe that I have 79 followers, I'm so touched with your support and for the lovely comments I receive. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
