My beautiful mother lost her fight for life this morning. There are no words to make this any easier. Mum lived life to the full, she loved glamorous clothes, handbags and fabulous jewellery, holidays in the sun, white wine, good company and cigarettes. She'd wish me to be happy and not to mourn, just to celebrate the wonderful relationship we shared for 43 years.

Oh Vix , I'm so so sorry. It doesn't seem more than a few days since you found out about her illness so this must be heartbreaking for you to take in. I'm sure she'd wish for you to be happy but mourn her as much as you need to, she sounds like a truly amazing person.
