Take a vintage maxi dress.
Unpick the centre seam from the hem, stopping when you get to around 4 inches below your crotch line.
Turn the dress inside out and pin the open front seam to the open back seam, creating legs.
Machine (or hand) sew along the pinned edges, turn inside out and ta...dah!

ReplyDeleteI think you and Curtise need to go out together in your matching jumpsuits! It's a clever idea and can be done the other way too. As a kid I used to turn jeans and cords into mini skirts, sewing the legs together. It gave me a wierd crotch bump though. Maybe not try that then... xxxx
