I've gotta tell you that I was blown away by yesterday's comments. Thank you so much for bothering to visit my blog and leave me a message, it's helped me beat my usual Back-From-India blues so much faster.
Here's something else that made me very happy, being immortalised by the fabulous and super-talented, the divine Miss Simmonds.

I thought I was well on the way to conquering the jet lag, too. I've got back into my exercise regime, haven't touched booze since Monday night (including an 11.5 hour flight without a drop of the hard stuff) and despite the hideously cold & wet weather walked into town this morning only to discover I'd left the house without my bank card with only 55p in my purse.
Barry M Blueberry Ice nails, bangles (either second hand or presents), rings (India, presents or inherited) |

Have a fab Friday whatever your plans are.
See you soon.

Glad you are back lovely. Enjoy your weekend calories xx
ReplyDeletefrom you and Helga I learned what "crimplene" is. I'd never heard that term for fabric before, I just said "ployester" Thanks!
ReplyDeleteDearest Vix,
ReplyDeletegreen suits you so well my dear.
I've still not been able to shift my post holiday blues and it's been a month now, the weather hasn't helped much.
Och, it'll be time for another magical mystery tour soon enough :)
Hope your hip isn't giving you too much grief.
Have a fab Friday eve darl!
Lot's of love,
Jennie...x
Even though the weather is dreary you sure look cheery in that green blouse! It's good to have you back. xx
ReplyDeleteWelcome home :) Bet you're finding it cooler than the rest of us after your time in the sun.
ReplyDeleteI have a hot date tonight with a glass or two of wine and whatever mindless comedy we can find on TV - live the high life me ;)
Sorry for not commenting for so long Vix, I have missed reading your blog! The beaded necklace is gorgeous and I'm glad you're feeling brighter today. Also Homeland is amazing, I've got four more episodes to watch too so I really need to get a move on. xxx
ReplyDeleteYou're so disciplined! No wonder you look so good. I'd be wallowing in the whole anti-climax if I were you.
ReplyDeleteThis is hideous weather to return from India to, not what you need after weeks of sun.
Don't know about you, but I'm always amazed by the quality of St Michaels' stuff in comparison to Marks and Spencer stuff of the last few years.
You're looking as good as ever, and have a fantastic summer to look forward to. Rob reckons August will be boiling this year, he's usually right with his weather predictions.
Have a lovely cosy evening.
Lucy x
