All Dressed Up & Nowhere To Go

It's not the kind of outfit I'd normally be wearing on a wild and windy weekday but I love this emerald green maxi and matching cape so much I've decided to pop a bottle of wine on ice and make a special dinner in it's honour.

It's a present from the lovely Kitty who knew this Silver Star, Sydney Seventies two-piece was exactly my kind of thing and how right she was. It's bright, it's sparkly, it's synthetic and it's full length, what's not to love?

She also sent me some insanely fabulous 1960's costume jewellery....

..and some easy-make sixties patterns which I cannot wait to get started on. I see more curtain couture on the cards.

Don't worry, I'll take the cape off before I crack open the wine, I can't be doing with anything interfering with my drinking arm.

Fingers crossed the rain holds off and tomorrow's car boot is still on. Jon's managed to fix Gilbert and he could do with a run out in the country.

Vintage two-piece worn with silver glitter platforms (£5, local boutique)

Have a wonderful evening and see you soon.
