A lovely friend gave me these earrings on Sunday and I received a wonderful surprise parcel from the fabulous Christina this morning, the perfect antidote to a miserably wet week day.
One of her friends used to do PR for the designer Warren Noronha and Christina had never got around to wearing this amazing dress. By freaky coincidence, when I googled his name I discovered he had Goan parents.
Behold more treats:
A beautiful card, a vintage cotton nightdress which I'll wear as a dress, Breakfast at Tiffany's (as I've never seen it) and a stunning silk dress which I'll show off another day.
How honoured am I to be included in Bella's Over 40 Fashion Bloggers post today? If you're a proud forty-plus woman get over there, add your name to the list and check out the awesome links. Blogging's not just for the kids, don't you know?

Congratulations on your feature at the Citizen Rosebud! And what a stunning photo of you there!
ReplyDeleteI was talking about you in a comment on Bella's January No Man's Land feminism in fashion blogging post. It was a long comment, but I noted about you,
"One blogger who popped right into mind as not obviously feminist but certainly feminist-friendly is The Vintage Vixen. I mean, she's lean, longhaired, sexy, dresses daringly, sensuously, and to flatter her form, but it's always been to please herself. She cooks and shops -- to please herself, and her partner cooks and shops too, to please himself."
That dress fits you perfectly!
