Whilst rummaging through the heaps of clothes at last night's jumble sale the lady next to me exclaimed, "God, that is DISGUSTING" and threw what she was holding back down on to the table. What was it? A filthy, stained garment? A teeshirt with an obscene logo? No, it was the dress I'm wearing that had caused her outburst.
Ok, electric blue polyester and rhinestones may not be to everyone's taste but I was more than happy to hand over 20p for it.
What else did I get?

ReplyDeleteGreat color! Lately, I've worn a couple of polyester dresses and I have really like how they moved. I am old enough to remember though when the styles began to veer away from that fabric. Nowadays, I wonder why.

Goddamn it I never see jumble sales round here any more! That dress is great on you, silly woman who thought it was disgusting that's not even my era and even I can see it stunning! Still I guess not everyone can have great taste and style like us ;o)
