  11. That skirt is beautiful! I went for a trawl in some trendy "vintage" shops in London the other day and nothing I saw came close to the amazing you've managed to pull out of charity shops for a small fraction of the prices they were asking.

  20. Dear Vix,
I love the maxi dress the print looks amazing.
The skirt is totally divine and a whopper of a bargain at a mere quid; I'll be looking forward to that being incorporated in a future outfit.
I like to snap up vintage dressmaking patterns too but I am too lazy to actually use them...I just look at the pictures...shockingly lame I know!
As for the hat, it's perfect and as far as I am concerned a chick can never have too many hats!

  21. Not that I get out much--but I've never seen a mink brooch before. It is quite stunning! The print on the wrap skirt is so exotic...and the hat is great on you. (I'm going up to my closet to check to see if I don't have a very similar hat - just in a bone/beige color....)
