It's Jon's birthday today and we're off to celebrate in our usual style at the Big Chill festival. There's art, music, cinema and dressing up a-plenty plus local real ale and great food.
The weather forecast's shocking but who cares? Gilbert's loaded down with pear cider and rose wine and my holdall's stuffed with everything from frilly bikinis, vintage maxi and mini dresses, wellington boots, fake fur coats, woolly socks, floppy hats, feather boas and flip flops.
The Style Challenge continues on Monday with the Swinging Sixties. Have a wonderful weekend and see you all next week.
Ah yes now this looks more like it! Sorry I haven't commented lately, I'm having computer issues whereby the 'post a comment' box is just not appearing. Wierd. Anyway I'm dying to see what you'll come up with for the 60s and 70s, I'm sure it'll be awesome. Those drinkies sound bloody good BTW! x.

ReplyDeleteEnjoy the Big Chill. We are off to Cornwall for two weeks in Lexie tomorrow and trying to decide what to pack is a nightmare - hot, cold, windy, raining...all areas need to be covered and I am in the middle of packing at the moment but needed a break from it. The most important extremes for me are my bikini, my polka dot wellies and my polka dot parker, oh, and my huge O'Neill cardi! Got to have some snuggly comfort clothes! x
