Minimum Effort

I started today with all good intentions to get sorted for Goa but Stephen Squirrel decided to make a bed out of my holiday packing and then darlings Sarah in Oz and Helga in Kiwi land distracted me with on-line chat and hilarity.

Look at the naughty boy leaving cat hair all over my vintage frockery
There's some good stuff on the telly later so other than the three dresses I finally got around to taking in it appears today's been a bit of a write-off.

Vintage mini dress worn with blueberry opaques and faux snake platforms, Balinese earrings (My Darling Helga), Tibetan silver choker (India)

The 1970's dress was from a car boot sale last year, it was 20p and needed a bit of work to the hem as it had been chopped down from a maxi and left raw-edged. Nothing a bit of Wonda-Web couldn't cope with.

This blingy 1980's Renata of Italy iridescent clutch bag came from a charity shop complete with the matching shoes (in my size). I'm not very mitchy-matchy and never wear them together.

The bag even has a matching make-up mirror I found concealed in the zip pocket after I bought it.

Wish me luck for tomorrow, I have a day of charity shopping planned with my beautiful friend Tanya.
