Here Kitty, Kitty!

I usually save this vintage beach dress for when I'm on the seashore in Goa, there's rarely the weather for it here but today's an exception, a deliciously balmy 28 degrees Centigrade and gloriously sunny. Along with the blingy pendant I'm wearing it was a pressie from the divine Kitty.

Stephen Squirrel's a house cat in the colder months but, like me, can't get enough of hot and sunny days. He's out from sunrise until sunset chasing butterflies and snoozing under the apple trees.

He always appreciates a good vintage frock.

Vintage brass bangles (inherited from Mum), solid brass heart ring (50p, Acorns Hospice), 1970's mood ring (Inherited), paste cocktail ring (the fabulous Sarah Misfit), Black cocktail ring (99p, Acorns Hospice)
Remember me mentioning another eBay buy last week?  Check out the shoes.

It was love at first sight when I spotted these original 1970's platforms. I couldn't believe it when I managed to snap them up for the £9.99 starting bid. Nobody else seemed interested, how odd, their loss is my gain.

With a 5.5inch heel and a 2inch platform I'm now a tall bird. They are so comfy, I've hardly had them off my feet since they arrived on Saturday.

It's dinner on the lawn this evening. Long may the great British summer continue.
