Mad Hair Day

By the time you read this we should be on the road, taking Gilbert for his first trip of the year, and I'm already feeling the festival vibe.

It's never too soon to start planning a few outfits.

This charity shop wig'll be perfect for covering up manky five-day-old festival hair,

and this hooded psychedelic maxi will stop me getting lost in the crowd.

An armful of brass bling (bottom two bangles courtesy of the fabulous Sandy, yellow cocktail ring from the gorgeous Sarah Misfit)
Happy Sunday!

1960s Psychedelic hooded maxi (eBay, £10), Wig (99p, British Heart Foundation)
Hope your weekend's been good as ours.
If I don't post again this week send out a search party in the direction of Wales.

I love the wig, I'm all about wigs and I've recently bought one too, just waiting a chance to wear it out. I've no idea how to look after it though to stop it becoming a bag of knots. That brass bangle on the top of your right arm... I have one exactly the same :-) xx

Melanie said...

HA!! I LOOOVE that wig!! It's not just the colour of the wig but the fact that you are actually WEARING it that makes me love this look - your expression is joyful. I don't wear wigs often, but what a thrill I get from them. When I was in platinum phase I got a shade close to this from a colourist - I almost kept it. Your dress is perfect! Have fun.
